6 years ago, I made this post celebrating purchasing our second register.
I remember standing outside our OG stire, holding that box with the biggest smile on my face. To most people it was just a cash register. To me, it was proof that we were surviving. Back then I had no idea what the future held. I just knew that every dollar mattered, every customer mattered, and every single person who walked through our doors was giving us a chance to keep chasing our dream.
Today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude because that one little store has become six stores.
Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming a doctor. I thought my purpose in life was to help people through medicine. God had a different plan. I was given the opportunity to help families in another way by making everyday life a little more affordable. When someone tells me they were able to buy something for their kids that they otherwise couldn’t afford, or when someone says Bargain$ Depot helped them stretch their paycheck just a little further, that’s a feeling I can’t even describe. ❤️
People often see the stores today, but they don’t see the sleepless nights, the uncertainty, the setbacks, or the moments when we questioned if we’d make it another month. But somehow, year after year, San Antonio kept believing in us. You shared our videos. You stood in our lines. You laughed with us on our live streams. You told your family and friends about us. Most importantly, you gave us a chance.
You didn’t just help build a business. You changed my life.
To every employee who believed in our vision, every customer who’s ever walked through our doors, and every person who’s supported us over these past six years, thank you.From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of this incredible city. The greatest accomplishment isn’t that we have six stores. It’s that we’ve earned the trust of a community that we love so much. We’ll never stop working to deserve that trust. Here’s to the last six years and, God willing, many more.

WE FINALLY GOT A SECOND REGISTER!
This is definitely a day I won’t forget, it may not seem like anything big but it means the world to me. YES, it means we will move the lines wayyy faster now but it has a deeper meaning than that. Let me explain. Buying a second register means progression, it means that all the hard work that we put in day in and day out is paying off. We aren’t perfect (far from it) but no matter what, we will do our best to try and give our community some of the best deals we can provide. No matter how much hard work we put in or how crazy we act on live video, NONE OF THIS would be possible without YOU! We sincerely thank each and everyone one of y’all and want you to know that we don’t take any of you for granted ❤️ and we will continue to show the same love you show us and more!
