Update: Last week I posted about "food items" (the medicinal/folk teas & spice mixes)

I put the cart cart before the horse and posted before the labels arrived.

Welp, the delayed labels are misprints.

The labels are not compliant with Texas Cottage Food laws & FDA requirements.

(Wrong address &"this has not been evaluated by FDA", the word "NOT" was left out.) These are huge errors & can lead to fines/other nastiness.

I cannot ship/mail these items due to cottage food laws but SA folks & Bandera folks can get a free delivery from me.

I make folk medicinal teas & modernized historical spice blends. Most are $5 for 3oz & sold in a plastic bag

*Flu Fighter tea - Dried Elderberry, Rosehip, Melissa, & Assam black tea

*Dream Sleep Tea - Chamomile, Valerian root, Mint, & decaffeinated green tea

* Brathendl (German chicken spice) - Paprika caraway, thyme, rosemary, garlic, marjoram, celery, pepper

* Poudre Douce (Sweet Powder) - pepper, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, cloves, laurel

*Poudre Forte (Strong Powder) - peppers, cloves, & nutmeg

Works in Progress

* Tummy Trouble "tea" - ginger, mint, & some other stuff

* Medieval Spice - Similar to Poudre Douce without pepper but exotic cardamom & grains of paradise

Supplies: 1 piece of scrap paper, marking tool (pencil/pen), scissors , 2 scraps of palm size fabric, fluff/stuff/poly-fill, needle & threads

* For demonstration, I used a contrasting color of thread to fabric. Normally they should match.

There has a very long gap in posts. 2020 found most of my sites/events shuddered but it had nothing to do with The Plague. Weird, right?!
