We've got something genuinely wild to show you the ICE Adventure demo trike equipped with PERS, the world's first chainless pedaling system for recumbent trikes. Yes, you read that right: no chain, no drivetrain, no gears to shift.
Here's the magic: a pedal generator at the front converts your pedaling into electrical power, which travels through wires to a 250w hub motor in the rear wheel, delivering 75Nm of torque, with power stored in a 700Wh battery under the seat. It's basically pedal-by-wire. ICE Trikes

🏆 Delta tx® Wins Eurobike Award 2026 🏆
Big news from HP Velotechnik! Their Delta tx® comfort trike just took home a Eurobike Award one of the cycling industry's most prestigious design honors for its innovative Above Seat Steering system with universal joint.
A six-member jury of industry experts praised the trike's stable handling and noted its steering system "combines easy access with familiar, ergonomically positioned controls." The jury also recognized what this means for riders: bikes like the Delta tx® help preserve access to social participation and independent mobility as individual mobility needs grow.
Also new for the Delta tx®: the Bafang M410 HD mid-drive motor with Smart Pedaling software, built exclusively for HP Velotechnik. It supports riders with very limited leg strength, and a thumb lever lets riders switch easily between torque-based and cadence-based assist. In the USA, it's configured as a Class 2 e-bike with throttle up to 20 mph.
