Mexican family yes… but the family tradition our mom gave us was “Monday Night Spaghetti Dinner”. Every Monday night she made a huge simple, but delicious pot of pasta and sauce and all of her 5 children, their partners/spouses and children came to enjoy a loud and loving evening together hosted by she and my dad at their home. Dad’s been gone 10 years and it’s been at least that long since we have gathered over spaghetti. We recently celebrated 94 years of mom/grandma. This week we gathered for a “grand finale” Monday Night Dinner with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren (Grandpa was almost certainly there just beyond our view). Mom rallied, smiled, and shared lots of stories and we will cherish this time and memories made. THANK YOU for your thoughtful care and mission. We are so very blessed to have your space to share this journey with our sweet mom.
