Something to really think on today: Children are our future generation, not professional athletes, movie and rock stars, or CEO's of big pharma and food industries, etc. So, why aren't we investing more for children? We know people will rise as high as you set the bar, and right now teachers are paid less or equal to most manager type positions for a retail store or restaurant... do we want them to just manage the day to day task of making sure our children survive the day and maybe learn a little or do we want them to truly educate and inspire... the average salary for a successful motivational speaker is about $85,000 and a teacher with 35 years of experience will still only make about $65,000... (rough numbers please correct me if I am wrong) Inspire and Educate or Manage... the choice is yours, as you set that bar.
