In the Spring of 2019, Wild Berries Press was created as a platform for independent artist book and zine publishing in the San Antonio, Texas community. Inspired by the concept of smultronställe—a Swedish word meaning “wild strawberry patch”—it describes a special place that is close to your heart, where you return to for solace and comfort. The works published by Wild Berries Press hope to create a similar feeling within their readers.
