The Vine

One Friday, late afternoon we got a call from our full time job and told we were temporarily being moved to support a new project. We only had a few days to relocate 1000+ miles away.

Our cottage bakery Nell-lee's Sweet Potato Pies and The Vine were at the peaks of momentum and it felt gut wrenching to have to temporarily close up shop. With the community lined up (literally) for Nell-lee's Sweet Potato Pies and vendors reaching out left and right for The Vine we had to take a breath and trust that God will sustain us through this and.... help us bring back the blessed momentum when we return 🙏.

We look forward to returning in a month or two and we willl continue to keep you updated on all the new ventures we look forward to initiating upon our eager return 😇.

Ok first caveat...no offense to anyone who does but we cant stand the Kardashians....still so fitting 😎

We enjoyed our much needed refresh and cant wait to see yall again starting this week. Stay tuned for vendor line up and all the exciting things in store for The Vine in the coming weeks.

Alright yall we are going to be closed a couple weeks. We are taking a much needed rest and focusing on some important family time.

Within the timeframe we are closed, we have our wedding anniversary, a birthday, another birthday (a few days after we re-open), and a few other family obligations. We are truly blessed to have so much to celebrate.❤️

We will have one open day Aug 8th and will post about that soon.

We wish you a happy end of summer and look forward to giving you all things small business when we re-open. God Bless.

A week ago we hosted a gluten free Christmas in July event. It did NOT go as planned. The planned was anticipating 20 or so people over the course of 4 hours. Instead we had 80+ people come, we had a line starting right at 9am, all of our bakers sold out, and we didnt even get a chance to turn on the Christmas music because we were so busy for 4 hrs😩.

We pushed through despite several hurdles and we learned a lot. We had so much grace extended our way, made some amazing connections within the gf community and overall we are so blessed we could host something for the gluten free community of SA. Thank you to Manna Reign Chocolates, Biscotti & More, Nell-lee's Sweet Potato Pies, Chimichurris and Preserves, Alkali & Oil Soaps, Samantha lujan, Amber Goulden
, laTEAda | Loose Leaf Tea, Chai, Matcha, Boba & Coffee 🫖🧋 and The Mermaid Café for being a part of the event.

We have been asked about a next event and are excited to host this next one with a little more experience under us 🎉🥰.

We hosted an amazing event for the gluten free community yesterday. Over 70 amazing gluten free-ers came out and we are already plannjng the next one. Stay tuned for a recap of the event.
