Today, in place of preparing for a weekend marketplace, I am preparing to lead a private workshop on pottery fundamentals. In place of connecting to my community through local and small batch production, I hope to connect by inspiring others to become makers themselves. Today I had a great opportunity to volunteer with the River Authority! I joined an Apple Snail invasive species removal at the stretch of San Antonio River next to the Pearl district. We used grabbers and fishing nets to remove invasive, snails, and their eggs.
It was a fantastic morning of community involvement, and contributing to my cities’ health. Happy Monday, everyone!

Yes!! there will be samples tomorrow at the weekend market at Arbor Park. I’m excited to connect with friends and neighbors tomorrow, and let you decide for yourself what small-batch body care is about here. I am sharing m good, quality products that I make by hand in a small and local setting. I am all about community, and finding ways to participate within that small community. I’m really excited to bring that desire to connect with me tomorrow, and I really hope that you enjoy your sample!
