What a beautiful morning of art, prayer, history, and fellowship.

There is something so special about watching each woman take the same project and make it completely her own. From learning watercolor techniques to discovering the meaning and symbolism behind the art, every little detail was part of the experience.

But my favorite part is always what happens around the table—the conversations, the laughter, the quiet moments of creativity, and the fellowship we share.

Thank you to each of the ladies who joined me for this Art & Prayers Watercolor Experience and trusted me to guide you through it. Seeing your finished pieces made all the preparation so worthwhile.

My hope with Art & Prayers is to create more than a class. I want to create a place where we can slow down, create something beautiful, learn about our Catholic faith, and enjoy time together.

🌸 ARTS & PRAYERS CLASS UPDATE 🌸

A little update to our August Watercolor Floral Vase workshops: I have decided to close the August 28th class date and will be focusing on our remaining class sessions.

If you were considering joining us on the 28th, I would love to welcome you to the August 14th class or the 29th.

We’ll spend the morning painting, learning about the beautiful Catholic symbolism of our flowers and the history behind Talavera, while enjoying café de olla, muffins, and fellowship together. 🎨☕🌿

A new Art & Prayers experience is here!
There is something special about creating beauty with your own hands while learning the rich symbolism of our Catholic faith.
Join me as we paint this elegant Floral Vase Wall Hanger.
During our time together we will discover:
✨ The symbolism of flowers in Catholic tradition
✨ The history of Talavera and its roots in the Catholic Church
✨ Watercolor techniques on professional artist-quality paper
Each participant will create a beautiful keepsake featuring:
🌸 A personalized Talavera-inspired vase with your initial
🌸 A laser-cut wooden display hanger with elegant engraved details
🌸 A devotional booklet to continue reflecting on the symbolism at home
As always, we'll enjoy warm café de olla, muffins, wonderful fellowship, and a peaceful morning creating together.

Some classes leave you with a finished project. This one left us with so much more.

This month, we didn’t just paint triptychs—we shared stories, encouraged one another, laughed together, and reflected on our faith. Every conversation reminded me that beauty has a way of bringing people together and opening our hearts.

One of the greatest joys has been receiving your photos and seeing your triptychs displayed in your homes. Knowing that something we created together has become part of your prayer corner and daily life is an honor I can hardly put into words. Thank you for allowing one of my designs to become a small part of your home and your journey of faith.

To each of you who attended, thank you for your trust, your kindness, and the beautiful spirit you brought to the class. You made this month truly unforgettable.

May these triptychs continue to be a reminder that Christ is always at the center of our homes and hearts.

Looking for a peaceful afternoon to create something beautiful while growing in your faith?

I have 3 seats remaining for our Art & Prayers Triptych Workshop on Sunday, July 26 at 4:00 PM.

Together we’ll create this beautiful heirloom piece while enjoying fellowship, refreshments, and meaningful conversation about our Catholic faith. No experience is necessary—I provide everything you need and guide you every step of the way.

Yesterday we completed the Sacred Heart Triptych Rosary Hanger class, and while this project took a little longer than expected because of all the intricate details, every minute was worth it.

Watching each lady carefully assemble, paint, and personalize her triptych was such a joy. No two pieces were exactly alike, yet every one reflected the beauty of its creator. Seeing the smiles when they held up their finished projects reminded me why I love doing these classes.

Thank you to each of these wonderful ladies for your patience, your laughter, and your encouragement throughout the afternoon. Your kindness toward one another creates such a welcoming atmosphere, and I’m grateful for every one of you.

At Golden Petal Studio & Co., these gatherings are about more than creating beautiful art—they’re about building friendships, growing in faith, and taking home something that will remind us to pray each day.

✨ My heart is so full. ✨

This weeks Talavera Wall Rosary class was so much more than making a beautiful piece for our homes. It became an evening of faith, friendship, and prayer.

We learned about the history of the Rosary, reflected on Our Lady’s request for the First Five Saturdays devotion, shared coffee and conchas, and then ended the evening gathered around a life-size candlelit rosary under the Texas sky. It was a peaceful reminder that when we come together in prayer, Our Lady always draws us closer to her Son.

The messages I’ve received afterward all carried the same theme. Every lady expressed how special the evening felt—not because of the project itself, but because of the atmosphere of peace, community, and encountering God together. That is exactly what I had prayed this ministry would become.

Thank you to each woman who trusted me enough to spend an evening in prayer, creativity, and fellowship. Your joy, your conversations, your laughter, and your openness made this class unforgettable.

This little ministry continues to remind me that art can be an invitation to prayer, and that sometimes the most beautiful masterpiece God creates is the community that forms around Him.

Thank you, Lord, and thank you, Blessed Mother, for guiding every step of this journey.
