This wee lovely belongs to the deck I am currently working on. It will be called The Dragon's Heart Oracle. It will be a simple deck. One of love and connection.
It will be the fourth deck of my five-deck publishing contract with Blue Angel, and now that The Otherland Oracle is in their capable hands, I have to decide on the fifth deck. At present, I have three ideas. One is safe. One is hauntingly beautiful. One is funny as f**k, but dangerous because it will require an explicit language warning.
All three ideas have been presented to Blue Angel for consideration. I will definitely work on one of them, but I won't be creating all three. I might commit to creating a second IF I am given the green light for the dangerous deck. If they say no to the dangerous deck, I'd say that the hauntingly beautiful one will be my last oracle deck.
Once I have finished the fifth deck, I believe I will be taking a step back from oracle deck creation. It's become too restrictive, puts too much creative pressure on me, and keeps me from taking on consistent paid work or painting originals.
So, I'll create at least two more oracle decks. Possibly three. Then, I will be done.
I should know what's happening sometime in the next week.
