I’ve been thinking 🤔 lately about the landfills and recycling and doing our part in decreasing the waste. So I want to say Merry Thriftmas. If we all bought a Thrifted Item at Christmas 🎄 it could make a big impact 👍😊 So Have a Merry Thriftmas ❤️

Nobody warns you about this part of thrifting…
it absolutely ruins normal shopping.

Once you’ve scored amazing pieces for $3,
you don’t see price tags the same way again.
You stop browsing like a customer
and start hunting like a detective.

Everything turns into a challenge:
“Could I thrift this instead?”
“Would the thrift store have something even cooler?”
“Is this worth full price… or just worth waiting for?”

Regular shopping loses the thrill.
Thrifting becomes the adventure.
And the treasure hunt?
That’s what keeps you coming back.

Why You Probably Shouldn’t Be Thrifting…

• “It takes too long to find anything good.”
• “You don’t know where those clothes have been.”
• “It’s embarrassing.”
• “I can afford new.”
• “Everything in there is outdated.”
• “I never find anything when I go.”
• “It’s easier to just buy it online.”

Okay… fair.
All valid opinions.

BUT HERE’S THE THING:
Every one of those “reasons” is actually the reason I DO thrift.

Because yes, it takes time.
And that means I only bring home what I truly love.
Yes, it’s not brand new… and that means it already survived the test of time.
Yes, it’s easier to order online… but easy doesn’t always mean fulfilling.

I thrift because I LIKE the hunt.
I LIKE saving money.
I LIKE giving things a second chance.
And I like having a home and wardrobe that nobody else has.

So if thrifting isn’t for you? Totally okay.
Just don’t knock it until you’ve actually tried it.
Because some of the best things in my life were sitting on a thrift store shelf…
waiting for me to walk in.
