Finally disposed of my kitchenaid fridge... after having it a short 5 years. Couldn't take the leeks any longer and it wasn't fixable. They should be ashamed of making trash. At least Samsung paid me $250 to take it off my hands. I wanted to take a bat to it but wasn't sure if I'd still get my money. Happy with me new fridge. So far so good! Will not support kitchenaid ever again!

KitchenAid Stove
Control panel intermittently works. Decides that 1/2 the buttons don't want to work every few days, then mysteriously decide to work again. K***s are made of cheap material and warp due to heat. They sent replacements, but due to heat ... same issue. Light in oven has needed to be replaced twice, top oven igniter once, and now control panel. Purchased 2/2018.

Fridge Model number and pictures -
Problem - drainage tube freezing over, water then backing up filling under deli tray and eventually becoming visable and working its way to the double doors.

I am starting this page because KitchenAid can't be trusted and don't care about their consumers. I bought a new fridge, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. At just 4 years old, we have had to replace dishwasher, and for past 13 months dealt with fridge not working (freezing water in drainage tube, & water backing up freezing under deli tray and leaking out the door.) KitchenAid says you have to pay their Certified Techs to come out. They were unable to fix the problem (paid $225) and then on 2nd time out tried to charge over $500 more at a guess at the problem that made no sense. Now our Stove is not working - after already paying for a new igniter (over $200), now I need a new control panel - $699. So I thought I'd share my frustrations with others who might have kitchenAid appliances and if others have similar problems then lets go class action. A 5 Star yelp appliance tech told me my fridge has a poorly insulated tube that freezes over, which probably happens during manufacturing. Not a water leak - that they wanted me to pay $545 to fix. If water was leaking it'd be all over my floor. The KA tech guy said they don't like to do warranty fixes because they aren't worth it to them. They don't get paid enough. So their own tech guys can't be trusted, which means KitchenAid can't be trusted. So post pictures, vent, find common problems, link up. However, keep it only with KitchenAid / Whirlpool products please.
