When it’s all said and done, are you going to be proud of the time that you spent?

This was me and my mom’s 3rd mother daughter Christmas trip.

I looked forward to it for the last year!

And honestly I used to hate Christmas🙅🏼‍♀️

It’s over commercialized and overstressed…

It’s totally lost it’s true meaning.

3 years ago after a massive change in my life, I decided that I would no longer be a slave to this holiday and what it has become.

I wanted to go back to the basics, I wanted to spend this holiday how it should be spent…

Spending genuine time with the ones you love.

My mom is my best friend. My biggest supporter. My biggest fan.

And while her and I talk every single day, multiple times a day, there’s really nothing quite like being able to spend one on one time together.

I am so thankful and so blessed that I have my mother in my life. I’m so grateful that she is such a wonderful human being who inspires me to be a strong, kind and compassionate woman.

Knowing that time goes as quick as it goes, I want to make sure that I spend every moment that I can making memories and sharing experiences with her.

Not buying senseless gifts that neither of us can take when we go from this earth….

So I guess I’m here to encourage you…

As you move through this year, please experiences & memories over materialistic items.

You will not regret it.
