This was my second attempt at getting this strawberry mango daifuku at 85°C Bakery Cafe USA since it was sold out the first time.

I really liked the flavor of the mango middle a mixed with the fresh strawberry and the texture of the mochi was nice and soft. However, the texture of the mango middle was not my favorite. It was like a dry gelatin-ish custard? Hard to explain.

But since I liked the flavor, I was able to work thought the texture enough to want to get more again next time!

These desserts have been all over my feed for so long that I knew ai had to try it! Desserts By Clement in Pacific Beach did not disappoint at all!

The care they put into each one of those desserts shows in each piece we purchased. The flavors and textures were so good!

I definitely need to come back and try more of the fruit based pieces. Yum!!

The perfect summer treat at KoLi Bar!

I love everything and anything mango so of course I had to try this! Super refreshing and nothing artificial! Loved it and need to come back to try everything else!

Now that we’re one summer break, let us know what else we should try to beat the heat!

Made a quick stop at Jessie’s Bake Shop on Carmel Mountain Rd for some sweet treats! A lot of the treats we purchased cost less than a dollar each. And I love the small portions. It allows me a sweet treat without overdoing it!

What other bakeries around San Diego should I try?

Made a boule of sourdough for the first time in probably over a year. Came out delicious! Yum!

, a chocolate lovers dream spot!

The chocolate drinks were spot-on chocolatey without being overly sweet! Definitely a place we’ll have to visit regularly when going for to Old Town.

What I ate one day… I meant to post this last weekend, not all the “back to school” prep kept me busy (and tired).

Started the day with a yummy coffee from

Lunch was a bahn mi from Bale French Sandwiches.

Ended the day celebrating my daughter’s friend at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort!
