I was randomly browsing storefronts for lease (something I never do, and honestly can’t afford one right now), and the first listing that popped up was the old Adams Ave Book Store location. 👀
That place is iconic to me. So many memories there, and the people who worked there were genuinely great — the kind of staff that made the shop feel like part of the neighborhood.
I can’t take this on myself. But it made me think — maybe this isn’t my opportunity, maybe it’s someone else’s. If you’ve ever thought about starting your own bookstore, this is a rare shot at a spot with real history and a built-in community that already loves it.
