🚀🏆 Rockets Series Standard RCQ 1K: Results 🏆🚀

Congratulations to our Rockets Series Standard RCQ 1K Winner, Michelle Tanner! 🏆✨

Full transparency: the person writing this post and the person it's about are the same person. Congratulations to me - I mean, to Michelle Tanner, Team Rockets Captain - on winning the RCQ to kick off this season's Rockets Series! Second straight starting event win after last season, too (I'm hoping to start a trend). 🥹

With that disclosure out of the way: this was a genuinely solid tournament. A close Round 1 loss in Swiss didn't slow things down for long - no more losses the rest of the event, a win over previous Series champion Jake Bailey, and a clean 2-0 through every Top 8 opponent. All on Dimir Midrange, once again, because some of us never learn (or rather, never need to thanks to bans). As I've mentioned before, "Kaito is just a good card." and he didn't let me down for this event either. 🥷💙🖤

All that said, none of this happens without strong opponents pushing me the whole way. I appreciate everyone I sat across from and you all definitely made me earn each win. Beyond an early lead in Series points, this also secures me an invite to the San Diego Regionals next year! In conclusion: great event, great opponents, and a mildly uncomfortable amount of writing about myself. See you at the next one! 👑🔥
