First of all, thank you for the love and support you have shown this past week. I so appreciate all of it.
Of course, this news had raised a lot of questions. I thought I would answer some of those here. If you have a question that isn't answered here, just reply to this email and ask.
Are you still having events?
No. Mother's Day marked the last of our events.
Will you still have ice cream sandwiches?
We will continue to make ice cream sandwiches, as demand dictates, through June. We are still trying to restock after the holiday, but almost there. If you want a dozen of your favorite one for example, please order with us directly, either by phone 858.688.0210 or in store, and we will make it for you. Once we close though, they go bye bye. Sorry.
Will you still have ice cream?
We will have ice cream, but likely not be reordering. If you would like to find our ice cream after we close, visit Niederfrank's Ice Cream at 726 A Avenue National City, CA 91950. They have all of our flavors plus A WHOLE LOT MORE!
Will you still have scones and pastries?
Our SPC Cafe (to go!) service will continue as long as we are open, but will go bye bye once we close. Again, so sorry.
What is a chocolate special order?
While we are still open, you can order from our selection and we will make it for you if possible.
Once we close and no longer have stock, you can still place an order for some items, but you will then have to meet our minimums. An example of this, a recipe of any of our barks make 14/ 3oz bags. Can you still order Espresso Toffee bark? Yes, but you will have to order 14 bags because that is 1 recipe's worth and the minimum.
What chocolate will I be able to order and what are the minimums?
In the coming weeks, we will send out a list of products and minimums.
Can you freeze chocolate so it will last longer?
Yes, chocolate can be frozen for up to 3 months or so, but it has to be vacuum sealed in the freezer. (*The vacuum shouldn't be with the air 100% removed, but rather "mostly" removed while leaving a bit of space within the bag.) When you are ready to use your chocolate, it must be kept in it's vacuum sealed bag and placed in the refrigerator for 24 hours, then left at room temperature for 24 hours. Then it is ready to be opened and enjoyed!
Can I still order favors for my wedding or event?
Yes. That is the type of business we are continuing with. Just contact us as you would now and we will proceed from there.
Are you keeping your website, etc.?
Yes. We will keep our website (sweetpetiteconfections.com (http://www.sweetpetiteconfections.com) ), our Instagram () and Facebook () accounts.
Will you be making any chocolate for the holidays?
At this point, the plan is to create new collections during chocolate season (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter and Mother's Day).
How will we hear news about Sweet Petite Confections?
We will send newsletters (though no longer weekly) and continue to post on our social media platforms.

We go to great lengths to ensure that our customers get the freshest product in the best possible condition.
All orders are shipped via UPS, Monday- Wednesday.
All orders are packed in insulated pouches/ wrap and with cold packs. To limit transit time to two business days, orders are shipped UPS 2 Day or quicker and are NEVER shipped over the weekend.
During the warm months, we will only ship UPS Overnight. Please choose this option upon checkout. Thank you.
At this time, we only ship within the continental U.S.
