POV: you can already smell Christmas. 🎄✨

The twinkle of the lights. Walking through rows and rows of fresh trees. Finding the one. That unmistakable fresh Christmas tree smell. And finally bringing it home to make the house feel like Christmas. ❤️

There’s just something about a trip to Pinery that makes the holiday season officially begin.

Our trees are still growing and getting ready, but we’re already dreaming about welcoming you back to the lots for another season of Christmas traditions. 🎄

Who else thinks nothing beats the smell of a real Christmas tree? 🙋‍♀️

Merry Monday from the Christmas tree fields! 🎄

Mike and Rick are back with another behind-the-scenes look at what goes into finding the trees that eventually make their way home to San Diego.

This week they’re talking about shearing, that incredible fresh-tree smell, some seriously perfect Douglas Firs and what it’s like walking among hundreds of thousands of Christmas trees looking for the very best ones. 🤩

And according to the guys, the trees are looking GOOD this year.

They’re already excited about what they’re seeing and even more excited to bring the best of the bunch back to San Diego for another Pinery Christmas season. ❤️🎄

🎄 MERRY MONDAY: Behind the Scenes!

Ever wonder how your Pinery Christmas tree makes its way to San Diego? It starts with a LOT of walking. 😉

Mike & Rick are up in Oregon checking out this year’s trees, walking miles and miles through the farms to find the very best Nobles and Burton Blues for the holiday season.

And from the sound of it… they’re pretty excited about this year’s crop. 🎄✨

Even better? We’re bringing back more trees than ever before this year!

Christmas may still be a few months away, but behind the scenes, the magic is already happening. ❤️🎄

There’s nothing quite like walking into the house and smelling a fresh Christmas tree. 🎄✨

And there’s actually a little science behind that Christmas magic! One of the natural aromatic compounds found in evergreens is called alpha-pinene, which contributes to that fresh, piney scent we associate with the season.

Basically… the smell of Christmas. ❤️

We may still have a few months to go, but the trees are growing and we’re already dreaming about welcoming you back to Pinery Christmas Trees.
