Our little company blossomed from a love of art and our own desire to preserve memories of our little ones as they grew up. I drew on my background in ceramic art to create this little business back in 2002. Since that time, it’s grown quite a bit! We can now be found in baby boutiques, toy stores, preschools and parent education centers. Our convenient locations make it easy to find a venue that is close to you.

Doodlebug Designs is coming to Point Loma!

Find the pop-up inside herewegoloopdeloo: a charming local resale shop specializing in children’s clothing and toys. 🧸 Lots of ceramic samples will be on display for inspo!

How this works:

🩵 Visit loop-de-loo’s on 8/28 between 10am and 1pm
🩵 Choose a design you love; customize color, shape, & more
🩵 The artist impresses the handprints into soft non-toxic clay
🩵 Your ceramics enter the production process (where the magic happens!) ~ about 6 weeks
🩵 Pick up your finished treasures (shipping also available)

It’s Christmas in July at Doodlebug…. and actually all year round, too 😅🎄

Seasonal items are available for order at all appointments and pop-up events.

Christmas is by FAR our busiest time of year—please note the longer-than-usual lead time towards the end of 2026. 👉 Or better yet, come early & skip the rush entirely.

About Deadlines:

❗️Order on or before deadline for fulfillment by respective holiday
📦 For shipped orders, we recommend coming early to account for postal holiday slowdowns
🛍️ Late orders can be placed after the deadline, but will not be ready in time for their respective holiday
📬 Orders placed via Mail Order Kits are subject to different deadlines (more info to come)
