USN Bell in Action on a custom holder we made.

We just finished delivering this custom stand for an authentic US Navy bell. This one had a bit of history behind it.

The bell was actually stolen by the client’s uncle who was a Marine during the Korean War and eventually made its way back to the Navy through our client who is a retiring Navy Commander. He wanted us to make a way to showcase the beauty of this piece of history. Made from solid quarter sawn oak, this will be sure to last through multiple generations and honor its heritage at the same time.

As someone who has “tactically acquired” his fair share of memories, I can definitely appreciate this one.

We’re working on a new collaboration with a few other makers in the Southern California region. Hopefully we’ll be launching soon but in the meantime someone decided to take some glamour shots of our work around the shop. Enjoy my ugly mug🤪. 📷️🤙

We drove all the way to Richmond The Lumber Baron Inc - REAL.GOOD.WOOD. to pick up this beautiful slab. Now the real work begins! Can’t wait to bring this one to life. #ɴᴇᴡᴘʀᴏᴊᴇᴄᴛ
