Putting your plants on a coco coir or moss pole has so many benefits- bigger leaves, more uniform growth, and increased fenestrations, to name a few! If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start, we’re here for you 😊 keep in mind that you may need to size up your pot to accommodate the pole, and be sure you’re using a chunky potting mix (this ensures there is great drainage and good airflow to your plant’s roots).

At Honest Thrift & Plants, we have all the supplies you’ll need to successfully get your plants on a pole! Coco coir poles, plant velcro, pots of all sizes- and more! 🌿

💫 Reminder: every plant you purchase at Honest Thrift & Plants includes follow-up plant care. If you have questions about your plant after you leave our shop, message us and Hannah will get back to you with tips, tricks, and troubleshooting 🩷

We are so excited to partner with Creature the Imperial Court de San Diego’s Guardian of Leather! Creatura is hosting Creature’s Crappy Hour- Exhausted Millennial Edition- at AWOL bar on Friday, September 11th. The Crappy Hour is an opportunity for folks to come vent, reflect, share ideas and laughter, and just be yourself with your community! Creatura is a life long artist and activist who seeks to create intentional spaces of healing and community through authenticity, mutual aid, and weaponized whimsy ✨

The Imperial Court is one of the worlds’ oldest and largest LGBTQ organizations. It is an international organization with many local, grassroots chapters that work to build relationships in their communities and support charitable causes.

Every $5 ticket purchased will support the Repro Legal Defense Fund, which is a national non-profit that protects and fights for reproductive rights. Your $5 ticket is a bookmark (beautifully hand-painted by your host, Creatura) AND a raffle ticket! Prizes include a gift certificate to Honest Thrift & Plants, Cafe Coyote, and more!
