After taking the last year off, I’m excited to be back and making new headwear! To kick of 2023, I’ve started with this gorgeous bright blue silk charmeuse! It feels like butter against the skin, is lightweight, and bold. This fabric is a lightweight, all season fabric.

All of my turbans are designed with the medical hair loss community in mind, but my designs can be worn by anyone! ❤️

❄️ Does your headwear suit your climate? ☀️

Like our regular wardrobe, our headwear should change with the season. You may want a warmer wool fabric for the winter but that definitely would not be comfortable in the summer!

I spend a lot of time testing the fabrics I use for my turbans. Some fabrics are beautifully light and comfortable whereas others may need a liner (like wool) for extended wear. It’s important to me that you find the right fabric for both comfort AND aesthetic purposes. I can walk you through the best options for your climate and lifestyle.

Cue my favorite all-season fabric, Silk Noil. This beautiful teal turban works well on both warm and cool days. It has a nubby texture, lived in feel, and is a great option for casual wear. This fabric will transition well through the year, even on 90+ degree days.

There’s something magical to creating statement pieces. As a woman living with hair loss, one of the emotional effects of watching your hair fall out is feeling like you are losing your femininity along with it. Hair has power (think of how confident you feel after a great blowout) and hair loss takes a little of that with it when it goes.

When I started making my own headwear, I wanted pieces that made me feel feminine. If people were going to stare, it would be because I’m FABULOUS. 💁🏻‍♀️
