Axe was a beloved Venice restaurant for 15 years before closing in 2014. This Friday July 25th our very own will be performing Venice 6:30-8PM!

Lola Quinn, currently based in NYC, grew up in Venice where she spent her high school years working at General Store.

Lola’s music channels the raw introspection of Joni Mitchell with the haunting spirit of Karen Dalton, folk reimagined with sharp edges and modern fire. Each track pulses with heartbreak and resilience.

Lola is excited to return for a hometown show this Friday with accompaniment from her producer and collaborator, Miles Tobel.

Known for his striking use of ancient wood-firing techniques, his work spans a range of mediums, including sculptures, furniture, and vessels. His creations are marked by bold, imposing forms and a unique, textured patina that evokes the essence of ancient artifacts, geological landscapes, and post-apocalyptic relics.
