Feeling the Haight love!
The iconic corner of Haight & Ashbury—where history, music, and counterculture all crossed paths. Today’s Haight is a neighborhood where San Francisco’s past and present comfortably coexist. The colorful Victorian homes, vintage clothing stores, independent bookstores, record shops, and murals still echo the spirit of the Summer of Love, while cafés, local boutiques, and neighborhood restaurants have made it a vibrant place to live and explore. Musicians still busk on the sidewalks, visitors come from around the world to experience its history, and longtime locals add to its authentic character. It’s no longer the epicenter of a cultural revolution, but it remains a place that celebrates individuality, creativity, and the enduring belief that art, music, and community matter.
