In the world of kidswear, some brands follow trends—and others set them. New Skool , founded by San Francisco–based artist and designer Nate Tan, is one of those rare brands that has carved out its own lane. Rooted in graffiti, Hip Hop culture, and graphic design, New Skool has been blending art, style, and community since 2004. With its bold graphics and authentic voice, the brand has grown from a creative vision into a movement that continues to inspire parents, kids, and creators 21 years later. I got the chance to ask Nate about the origins of New Skool, the creative process that keeps it fresh, and the values that drive the brand forward.
