This cast-iron weight, found at ~ SF76 , is inspired by traditional Japanese weights from Takaoka. I use it to hold leather in place while cutting.
This horsehair bristles brush is from a Portland brand bodge I met at WCC. I use it on my desk, though it almost feels too beautiful for everyday use.
I love both simple, solid and quiet presence.

今日は私の手仕事に大活躍の道具達の紹介です。重しはsf76で購入した高岡鉄鋳物Fundo。秤の分銅をモチーフにしたものでいろんな用途があるのですが、私は革を切る時の重しに使っています。どっしりとしたかたまり鉄の存在感が大好きです。
WCCで出会ったポートランドからのベンダーさん、bodge.coさんから購入した馬毛ブラシはデスクで使うのが勿体無いぐらい。そこにあるだけでキリッとした北欧的な雰囲気たっぷりです。
