Perhaps one of the best parts of having a record shop in SF, we are in doggie heaven. Every…EVERY! day, some cute pup comes in to say hi.
This is Mozzarella, a rescue with the best attitude you ever saw.
Today I got fist-bumped by an adorable neighborhood French bulldog.
We keep treats on hand, of course. How could you not?

No sadder news today than the loss of our pal Dick, owner, icon of Rooky Ricardo's Records. The man had a way with 7" knowledge, and it was ALWAYS a joy when he would visit.
He spent hours at Grooves, digging for the most arcane, obscure, and simply rare singles he could find. We would chat for a while, say goodbye, and always knew we'd see each other again. We are devastated by his departure. See you down the road.
