SUSTAINABILITY WARRIORS, I NEED YOUR HELP!
As a mobile refillery that pops up outdoors, I have to consider what happens when the weather gets too windy or too rainy.
If the weather is not too extreme, we are technically able to pop up because of the Lark Mobile, albeit with a different set-up. However, based on past experiences and discussions with other vendors, customers understandably do not usually come out when it is raining.
Given market fees and the lack of convenience for the community, I am considering offering free deliveries instead, as I have previously done, especially with winter weather and El Niño coming.
TO HELP ME DECIDE ON WHAT TO DO, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BEST TO JUST ASK YOU ALL! I have put together a voluntary Rainy Day Survey through Google Forms that will be open until OCTOBER 26TH, 2026. The survey link will also be temporarily available in the footer of our website and our Instagram links.
ALL THOSE THAT FILL OUT THE SURVEY WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR A $50 DIGITAL GIFT CARD FROM THE DAISY REFILLERY THAT CAN BE USED ONLINE OR IN PERSON. The winner will be notified directly by email on OCTOBER 29TH and announced by first name in our November email newsletter.
Please note that online orders are for local delivery to San Francisco, South San Francisco, and Brisbane, California ONLY.
We kindly ask that this survey is only filled out by current customers or interested customers. Please note that The Daisy Refillery is a mobile refill shop that pops up around the Bay Area and offers local delivery. If you are a sustainability warrior from out of town, we ask that you do not fill out the survey, so we can sort out responses appropriately. Thank you all in advance for the help!
PREPARING FOR EL NIÑO
If you have not already, we recommend you put together an emergency bag and emergency supplies to prepare for El Niño's arrival. In addition, we also recommend signing up for local emergency alerts!
This El Niño is looking like it may be the strongest in history. Please stay safe everyone!
