I made this compact shoulder bag by deconstructing and rebuilding a gas mask bag used by the U.S. military in the 1960s.
It’s one of my personal favorites—I’ve used it for years.
The size is super practical, and the worn cotton material feels so easy to carry. The short flap also makes it really convenient to use.

I used Levi’s jeans from the 90s, deconstructing them completely.
It’s funny—sewing the pieces together was quick, but the real challenge was in carefully taking them apart.
