Hi All,

Beginning this Sunday, July 26, the store will be closed through Monday, August 3 for our summer break. The store will reopen Tuesday, August 4 and our hours will be Tuesday through Saturday 10-5. You can always reach me through the store email address, [email protected].

Next month specials:
1. Polyester scarves, normally $11.99 each or two for $20.00, will be $9.00 each through August 29, 2026. Limited to stock on hand.
2. Sunset Music 96-page manuscript book, known as the “green cover,” are $4.99 each (normally $5.99) through Saturday, August 29.
3. Pencil clearance! Regular type pencils, usually 60 cents each are 40 cents. They are located on counter in front of the rulers.
Mention of the specials are in this email or on Facebook.
4. ABRSM Piano Exam Pieces 2025-2026, useable through 2027, are 10% off and limited to stock on hand.
5. Music Theory Practice Papers 2021 special: all grades are paired with the Model Answers at a special price. These are great if you wish to practice before the theory exams. Grades 1 through 8 available.

Make “note” of
1. K-Pop Sheet Music Collection which has music from BTS is only $22.99. At this time there is only the Piano/Vocal/Guitar book, no easy piano.
2. ABRSM Piano Exam Pieces 2927-2028 are now here! These pieces are usable through 2029 in the US.
3. K-Pop Demon Hunters are available for regular piano (Piano/Vocal/Guitar) and easy piano.
4. Movie selections from Wicked Part 1 and Part 2 are now available for $22.99 each.

If you’re traveling, identify your luggage with a bright, music-themed luggage tag at only $3.50 each. Orchestra, clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin, Bass and treble clef are currently available. You can also use them with a clipper card.

Face masks are no longer required at Sunset Music. Any one interested in a box of disposable face masks, I have them at a great savings of $5 for a box of fifty.

Savings on Music Theory in Practice, Grade 8! Test yourself with this high level of theory for only $3.00! Only three copies of this book remain in the store that were $23.75-$26.95, but now are a bargain at $3.00 each. In-store purchase only.

Bay Beats is accepting recordings to be included in the San Francisco Public Library inventory of recordings but only until May 31, 2026. Those selected for use receive $300.00. The library is looking for a wide variety of music (including Jazz, Tap, Pop, Classical, Latin, etc.) recorded by local musicians. So get that favorite piece recorded and send it in!

Next week, Wednesday, April 1 will be my 38th Anniversary as owner of Sunset Music. I will be having a sale in celebration of it. Come find something for yourself or someone you know at a savings! K Pop Demon Hunters, Wicked: For Good, Anime Music, and music from The Sims are new items in the store. Think about graduation, recital, and Mother’s Day gifts. Face masks are no longer required in the store.

Also, Bay Beats is accepting recordings to be included in the San Francisco Public Library , but only until May 32, 2026. Those artists whose recordings are selected for use receive $300.00. The library is looking for a wide of music (including Jazz, Tap, Pop, Classical, Latin, etc.) recorded by local musicians.
