Yellow Owl Workshop Making bright, creative goods that are as unique as YOU! Christine Schmidt received her BFA from the Corcoran School of Art and has exhibited across the US.

Her books, Print Workshop; Hand-Printing Techniques and Truly Original Projects and Yellow Owl's Little Prints are both available on Amazon and Random House. She handles the designs while Evan Gross, her lovely husband, handles the business side of things. Christine and Evan also enlist a small dream team of artists, makers and doers to help make things happen in the Mission District of San Francisco, California.

Meet Kristina Micotti, the San Jose illustrator behind a whole bunch of Yellow Owl favorites.🍌

You can spot a Kristina Micotti drawing from across the room. She has a way of giving a dog the exact right amount of emotional baggage, making a tiger feel a little feral, and making a banana somehow feel worthy of its own fan club. Her work is simple without ever feeling plain, which is probably why we keep finding more things we want to put it on.😜

That unmistakable point of view is exactly why we love working with independent artists in the first place. We’re not looking for everyone to draw the Yellow Owl way. We want Kristina’s dogs to look like Kristina’s dogs, her wild cats to look like Kristina’s wild cats, and her work to keep feeling completely, wonderfully hers.
