Small Learning Moment
Have you ever been so far behind in a game that you just wanted to give up and stop playing? If so, that game may have benefited from a Catch-Up Mechanism. These mechanisms benefit players in last place or help hold back players ahead, allowing them to “catch up” and maintain competitive play. Kittens in Space Launch Party

Kittens in Space (https://www.gamescapesf.store/product/-preorder-kittens-in-space-late-april-release-/LLGMIJT7H76JSTW42NXH2H32?cp=true&sa=false&sbp=false&q=true) is a card-shedding game where you are racing to clear the shelter on the moon, getting all of your kittens adopted out as quickly as possible. This is a very simple game that is easy to teach and only takes about 15 minutes to play.

KublaCon Prime
If you are interested in a weekend full of board games, RPGs and miniature wargames, you should check out KublaCon Prime (https://register.cardboardevents.com/kublacon-game-convention/2026/main-registration) . This is the largest board game convention in the Bay Area, and it is a great way to spend your Memorial Day weekend!

Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Spearhead Tournament

RPG Night at Gamescape
If you need a night to escape into another world, you should come by RPG Night at Gamescape (https://www.gamescapesf.store/events) and check out some awesome RPGs. It is so difficult to get a group of people together to play RPGs, and even harder to make sure one of them can be the GM and organize a game. Instead, you can come play with us, where experienced GMs are happy to run games and teach new players. It's an amazing way to learn new games and meet new people.
