Pumpkin Heads Pt. 3 is coming! This is a call for artists. We will be selecting up to 20 artists this time. DM Eye & Hand Society to apply. We will notify selected artists within 24 hours. If selected, your piece is due no earlier than Friday 10/16, you can also bring it to the opening on Saturday 10/17 by 5pm.

Your canvas must be an 8” Plastic Candy Bucket. NO EXCEPTIONS! This must start as your base but go crazy after that.

Huge shout out to Sleeper Cell , The Let Downs , excuse me sir , and the unnamed opener for a ripping show. We are honored to be a venue for all ages shows in SF. We’re filming a commercial for Simple Pleasures! Tuesday 7/21 3-6pm we want to fill the parklet with all of SP’s people. The first 20 to show up for the shoot get free coffee. They’ll also be serving $5 beers while we shoot. Let’s get the parklet ripping!

We also need 2 volunteers for acted scenes. Must be available 10am - 1pm. What were looking for: Walking in to cafe, ordering food/drink, interacting with staff, sitting and enjoying the goods!

The spot will play before movies at the Balboa Theater!

Anna is Anna MacKenzie on instagram. She’s a photographer, videographer, artist and guitanjo player hailing from San Francisco. Born and raised.

Anna earned her BFA in Photography in 2023 from California College of the Arts, San Francisco, after attending SFAI from 2018-2022. Now she’s pursuing her Masters at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology)!

This will be her last show at EHS for a while so let’s send her away with a lot less artwork to store and some money in her pocket as she makes her way to total mastery in photographic endeavors.
