Hi loyal Land of the Sun patrons! I am still keeping this page open because I want to keep in touch with you all! I haven’t posted anything since February…..due to many hacking nightmares … photos and posts which were not of my doing. So if youve seen anything since February — it wasnt me. I havent checked this page for a while because it’s been tough…..to let go. 😔However……
I am posting now as Alicia Gay Loskot McCord the one who loved helping you for 27 years!! 🥰Many things have changed but I want to reassure you that — Truly, when one door closes….Another one (or a few in this case) opens! I will keep you informed of the new exciting adventures and will one day share the long strange trip which led to the abrupt closing of the last standing original hippie shop on the Haight. ❤️ ✌️😃 Always! Thanks for turning my day around. You don’t know how grateful I am that you believe in me and think I am the least crazy person you know. I have so many working against me that your hugs and understanding mean the world to me. I love you, Jules. PS my friend just kicked me out and I have nowhere to go. I am sober and clear headed with out support or money. So after your visit things took a very sad turn ….that is what I get for speaking the truth and trying to warn others…because I care about them.

I’ve wanted this to happen for years! is not only a brilliant musician but he is also a kind person with a wholesome soul. I am thankful I was able to tell him about my store and the history behind it. He was patient and real. I look forward to seeing him again, possibly 😃! Maybe he’ll need another pair of shorts! 🙏🥰 PS. I am not quite sure if he heard me say ‘funny face…’ 😄 But either way…that pic cracks me up! #❤️✌️😃

I’m taking on the road! There is barely any foot traffic on these days….the most empty I’ve seen it in a couple of decades..minus when we were closed 16 months during Covid. I hope it picks up soon…at this point we barely cover rent. I may have to travel with our amazing items instead. I may embark on a completely different adventure. Who knows?! Life is full of opportunities, choices, risks and rewards. We never know what today might bring 🥰 #❤️✌️😃
