VERSUS GAMES FEATURED IN SFGATE!

We’re excited to share that Versus Games was featured in SFGATE as part of their story on the incredible growth of Pokémon cards and the security challenges facing stores and collectors throughout the Bay Area.

It’s amazing to think about how much this industry has evolved. Trading cards have grown from a hobby into a serious collectibles market, with individual cards and sealed products now reaching values that would have been difficult to imagine years ago.

With that growth also comes greater responsibility. I had the opportunity to speak with SFGATE about how the industry has changed, the investments we’ve made in security, and the balance between protecting our team, our customers, and our inventory while still maintaining the welcoming environment that a local game store should have.

I’m proud that Versus Games continues to be recognized as a voice in the Bay Area TCG community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share our perspective.

A big thank you to Gabe Fernandez and SFGATE for taking the time to speak with us and tell this story.

VERSUS GAMES ON KRON4 NEWS!

Pretty exciting to see Versus Games featured on KRON4 and to have the opportunity to represent our store and the TCG community on the news.

Pokémon and the trading card industry have grown tremendously, and with that growth has come some very real challenges. I had the opportunity to speak with KRON4 about the rising value of Pokémon cards, the increase in theft targeting card shops, and what stores like ours are doing to protect our employees, customers, and collections.

We’ve been part of the TCG community in San Francisco for years, and I’m incredibly proud of how far Versus Games has come. From our local community to everything we’re building today, it’s exciting to see our experience recognized and to be asked to share our perspective on what’s happening in the industry.

A big thank you to KRON4 for having me and giving Versus Games the opportunity to represent the Bay Area TCG community.
