🌸 This Sunday (Apr. 21), we’re celebrating Nikkei Matsuri in Japantown San José from 10 AM to 5 PM.

🌸 Nikkei Matsuri () is one of our very favorite events of the year in San José. A day full of amazing local creativity, cultural exhibits, live performances and delicious food all wrapped together within a wonderful community-powered experience.

🤗 To help celebrate Nikkei Matsuri this year, .jtown will have some special things happening during the event itself at its store (located at 208 Jackson Street, San José, CA):

🤩 will be hosting a FREE coloring book station from 11 am to 5 pm. In addition, will also be doing live custom screenprinting between 3 pm and 4 pm! Bring your own t-shirt, hoodie, pant, apron, and/or tote, and get Buppy Dogs’ “Tempura Mistake” design screenprinted on it. Sliding scale cost of $15 to $30. Place your order online (link to form in bio) or in-person BEFORE 3 PM. No orders after 3 PM will be accepted.

🎨 will be unveiling her brand new amazing mural on one of the walls of .jtown! 😍 Stop by our storefront and check out the final version of this amazing new addition to the neighborhood’s growing mural scene.

🦆  will be debuting her latest & greatest product in the store: A Lost Duckling Night Lamp 🥹 This adorable new lamp will be just $49.99 (regularly $60) and comes with a FREE duckling shopping bag (while supplies last)! Only applicable for in-store purchases during Nikkei Matsuri. ❄️ PLUS, any purchases over $50 will receive a FREE cooler bag with any Thousand Skies purchase over $50. Limit one (1) per customer. 🌞 This weekend: One of our favorite events of the year: San José Day (). Happening on Satirdau, Apr. 6 from 12 pm to 6 pm. Located at 525 N. 7th Street, San José, CA 95112. Come experience the heart and soul of San José through live music and dance performances, art displays, a local business fair and food. The 6th Annual San José Day is proudly hosted by in Japantown SJ. This street fair is made possible by Council Member Omar Torres’ Office (). Free admission.

🩷 One thing to note: This is not a event. We are just super happy to support this amazing annual community celebration in our city! However, we will be offering the first 100 people who wish us a “Happy San José Day” at our .jtown store (208 Jackson Street) during San José Day (Saturday, Apr. 6 between 12 pm and 6 pm) with a free San José sticker of their choice (see the eligible stickers in the post) by San José artists and .

👉🏽 Hello! The MOMENT JTOWN Store will be closed for redecorating and remodeling from Wednesday, Jan. 10 thru Tuesday, Jan. 16. It will reopen for normal operating hours starting on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 12 pm.

🎉 We hope yall are having a great start to your 2024. 2023 was a bit of a whirlwind for us in our first full year operating the store. We're happy to be able to catch our breath a little before kicking off another exciting year for our store with the always amazing + + + .

🗓️ Starting on Jan. 23, we'll be expanding our operating hours to (✅ = new changes):
⛔ MONDAY: Closed
✅ TUESDAY: 12 pm to 5 pm
☑️ WEDNESDAY: 12 pm to 5 pm

🎃 Our favorite holiday of the year. And we love celebrating it in Japantown San José. The Halloween fun and trick or treating starts at 4 pm and runs thru 8 pm. Swipe thru the post for more info about all the events and activities happening. We'll be giving out candy along with our neighbors!
