Paddle Board on the Cowlitz River from Toledo to Castle Rock

Can you safely paddle board down the Cowlitz River below the Barrier Dam to the Columbia River and the answer is YES you can but from Barrier Dam to Toledo there is a few wavy spots that you would want to get down low until it smooth out.

The best section for your first paddle board trip would be from Downtown Toledo to Castle Rock Lions Pride Park or the North County Recreation Association Youth Sports Complex & Event Venue Boat Launch.
