Kenya Karindundu AA

This is a very good coffee.. The first of four Kenya offerings this season and is easily one of the best Kenya coffees I’ve ever tasted.

Karindundu is a blend of SL28 and SL34 that pops off with jammy blackberry, limeade acidity and sticky sweet mango. The cup is soft but still super textured and juicy! A very “Field Day” style coffee.

Get it while you can!

New coffees as we head into a wild weekend!

Peru La Vicuña- very balanced with notes of nougat and yellow fruits! An easy daily drinker.

Ethiopia Aricha washed- our first Ethiopia release of the season is delicate and floral with notes of watermelon, peach and creamy orange sorbet! Very refreshing cold as well.

Colombia Las Perlitas - this little washed field blend is an absolute fruit bomb. Think a strawberry laffy taffy and honeysuckle. A very fun coffee!

Colombia Finca El Espejo - a washed Pink Bourbon that is textured but elegant. Lemon candy and gentle rose florals stick on the palate.

Colombia Jorge Rojas - this washed Chiroso is juicy and sweet with notes of ripe cherry and orange! We chose this coffee as the winner when we cupped with DDC - Desarrolladores de Café 🏆

Kenya Karindundu AA - first Kenya of the season! This blend of SL28 and SL34 is bright and juicy with notes of blackberry and mango. (Still waiting on the green for this one. Hopefully on the shelves next week!)

See you this weekend!

Field Day Blend!

A seasonal rotating blend of coffees.

Guatemala Familia Villatoro and Ethiopia Laayyoo Natural

This blend is slightly more developed than our single origins but still delicious on its own. Even better as espresso. Round and sweet and a little bit fruity!

Pro tip: rest the coffee a little bit if brewing as espresso. We prefer 3-4 weeks off roast in the shop but anytime after 2 weeks should do the trick!

Recipe:
18grams x 40-45grams around 19-25 seconds is a great starting point for espresso.

1:16 ratio for pour overs.

Now available at the shop!
See you this weekend!
