June flew by, and I can't believe the Fourth of July is already here! Whether you're celebrating with a backyard barbecue, a neighborhood block party, or a day by the pool, we've gathered a few easy entertaining essentials to help make your holiday feel a little more festive.

I just returned from Dallas Market inspired (and with lots of exciting orders on the way!). In the meantime, we've given the shop a little refresh, and if we haven't seen you in a while, we'd love to welcome you in before the holiday weekend.

Paper Placemats are the star this holiday and always! These Hester & Cook packs are under $3 per setting and instantly transform the table. You'll hear about them often because we truly love them! This week, I'm especially loving the American Floral Wreath Placemat! We used them recently at an event in Boston and they were the perfect touch for our patriotic evening. Nothing says America quite like a Candy Salad. 🇺🇸 Have you seen this TikTok trend? Everyone brings their favorite candy to share, creating the ultimate sweet-and-sour mix. If I'm invited, I'm bringing BonBon Swedish Fish. They may not be brand new anymore, but I guarantee there's still an aunt, cousin, or friend who hasn't tried them! The Strawberry Fish are always a crowd favorite, and the Sour Elderflower Fish are a fun, unexpected twist. Available at both of our locations!

Spring Entertaining, Simplified.

I hear it all the time - "I want it to feel elevated, but I don't want it to be complicated (or expensive)." A little whimsy goes a long way. Frog votive tea lights scattered down the table = instant charm. And our larger frog + snail candles? The cutest take-home favor (trust me, guest will be obsessed).

How darling is this? A simple wood tray with a bud vase and votive holders makes an easy centerpiece for spring and a lovely piece to style year-round.

Unexpected Vessels > traditional vases. We styled our stoneware snail watering can with spring blooms and it might be my favorite detail. Pro tip: grab one of Kellye's bouquets at The Ah Louis Store Outpost (flowers available Thursday, Friday, Saturday) - they make it effortless!

Something sweet, but make it chic. The Sugarfina bento box is a favorite. Polished, giftable, and honestly too pretty not to display.

REMINDER - Spring Coloring Contest: A favorite spring tradition is back at Ah Louis, and this year’s coloring contest features a flower design for the season. We are loving the entries that are coming in - keep 'em coming!

Stop by the store and pick up the Bunny to color!

Entries are due by April 1st.

Finished coloring sheets may be turned in during store hours, or placed in our mail slot if you are stopping by after hours.

All ages are welcome to participate, and we would love your help decorating our windows for spring. Amber and I both loved coloring contests growing up, and we are so happy to carry that tradition forward at the Ah Louis Store.
