Just had this awesome old department store bass dropped off with me, stoked to get this thing which was apparently used at one point used as garden art grippin and rippin like it should again.

If those pickups held up to the elements, this thing is gonna sound dirt nasty through some fuzz, has the famed baseball bat neck profile from the 50s and 60s.

First up is a new bridge and setup, then fine tuning the kinks from there until it sings.

Use Active pickups? Active preamps can run at either 18v or 9v, this is the simplest way to mod your 9v to 18v and is instantly reversible.

18v tends to sound more full and open, less compressed. While these are simple to make, I can save you the time and make one for ya for $5. Small enough to be shipped in an envelope to any location.

P.S. Yes, its soldered underneath the tape :)

-Wiring: 30 per pickup, 20 for new pots, 10 for jack rewire/replace
