So for the past couple of hours, and maybe a few more, I’ve been picking and sorting preforms from these bins and several more! Gem dinosaur bone can form in a variety of colors, including red, orange, yellow, blue, white, and sometimes even green. Did you know it can also form alongside feldspar?

Feldspar is one of my favorite minerals to work with because certain varieties, like labradorite, can produce a beautiful shimmer when viewed from the right angle. The heart I cut and polished showcases that subtle flash nicely, creating a unique piece that's perfect for jewelry!
