Big changes have been made to the TurnTex website, specifically for Cactus Juice Vacuum Chambers! In the past, all vacuum chambers were made to order with a 7-10 day lead time. I have changed all of that up. Here are the changes:

-I now offer stabilizing packages in 4 different most popular size vacuum chambers that come with everything you need except a vacuum pump and oven. The package represents an average of 18% saving over buying the different items by themselves!

- I have added a section for standard size, ready to ship chambers. These are my most popular size chambers and we will be keeping them in stock, ready for immediate shipment.

-The remainder of the 39 different size chambers I offer are now in a section of custom made chambers. These will allow you to purchase a chamber that fits your special needs. These chambers are now subject to a 3-4 business day lead time instead of 7-10 days. I have also added a Priority Rush option where you can choose to pay rush fee of $25 and your custom chamber will be built and shipped the same day subject to the stated cutoff times. I guarantee shipment for Priority Rush and if we fail to deliver, we will immediately refund the $25 rush fee plus an additional $10 for the inconvenience and will call you to let you know.

One other small change is I now offer a complete set of 2 oz Cactus Juice Dyes at a discounted price that reflects a 15% discount.

The most recent batch of Alumilite Clear Slow 16 # kits we received from Alumilite were more yellowed than normal. As a result, Alumilite has agreed to discount them 25% for those than can use the yellowed material. If you cast with dyes and micas, this yellowing will have no effect. Another new/revised product...

You may have seen that my manifolds have been out of stock for a good while. This was because I was exploring better options for a superior product that was less labor intensive to make. My previous manifolds were made in two parts on CNC equipment, then had to be glued together and tapped. This was time consuming and was a bottle neck in availability.
This new style is a high quality solid billet of aluminum that is drilled and tapped for use. Being able to source these in bulk, having the logo printed on them, and then assembled and tested will allow us to always have stock. In my opinion, as much as it hurts me to say, these are better quality with no chance for leaks at the seams. Granted, I still think my manufactured manifolds looked nicer but heh, less labor is always good!
We currently have 1 available and in stock while we wait for more fittings to come in. They are expected in the next day or two. If you go to order and find it is out of stock, please enter your email and the moment we put them back in stock, you will get an email notification.

New product for your convenience at TurnTex!

Use these 50 ml beakers to test Cactus Juice that you suspect is past its shelf life. Fill with 30ml of suspect Cactus Juice and place in the oven at 200F for one hour. If it turns to a solid of some kind, it is still good. If it stays liquid, it is bad and may be a candidate for re-activation. Contact me for directions if it fails the test.
