One of my favorite parts of creating Quilt in a Day's marketing emails is hiding little Easter eggs in our daily email blasts. Sometimes they're as simple as a birthday wish for a family member, and other times they're subtle references or special offers tailored to a longtime customer. Most people never notice them, but every now and then someone does—and that's part of the fun.

I'm especially proud of this year's Birthday Sale and wanted to share it with you as an example. As you watch future emails, you may start spotting a few Easter eggs of your own.

This promotion was designed to celebrate two birthdays at once: America's 250th birthday and Quilt in a Day's annual birthday celebration. We launched the sale on July 3rd, Eleanor Burns' birthday, with a nod to 1776. As the sale comes to a close today, the focus shifts to 2026, marking the beginning of America's Semiquincentennial year and bringing the story full circle.

Meet Blondie, one of our more unique family pets.
This 2 year old loves dried mealworms and cat food. During the day she’s busy hiding away and at night she runs on her big wheel with her unexpectedly long legs. This year she joined us for our great egg hunt!
