To all of our pre-release players, here is the latest info we have from WPN (body of email received).

"Recently we informed you that some or all of your expected Magic: The Gathering® | The Hobbit™ Play Boosters are delayed in reaching your distributor. These Play Boosters are estimated to complete fulfillment by early September. We understand what this delay means for your store, and we are working to fulfill remaining allocated Play Boosters to our distribution partners as quickly as possible.

Your distributor will provide updates on exact delivery timing when we complete delivery to them. If you have Prerelease or other Play Booster prize support to award to players, we recommend documenting this for your staff to provide when they are available.

Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility through this challenge."

We will keep the list of winners and fulfill your prize pack as soon as we receive our allocation. We appreciate your understanding through this difficult time.

To all signed up for out Hobbit pre-releases, Wizards is experiencing some delays. Here is the information we have.

Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy - San Marcos
Due to a shipping issue, delivery of Magic: The Gathering® | The Hobbit™ Play Boosters may be delayed to your store, arriving after Prerelease. This delay was outside the control of your selected distributor, and we are working with them directly to get this product to your store as soon as possible. Other products are not impacted by this delay and are expected to arrive on time.

If you have players that qualify for Play Booster prizing that you are unable to fulfill due to this delay, our recommendation is to document those players and provide the prizes upon their next store visit after delivery.

We understand the impact these delays can have on your community’s Prerelease experience and appreciate your patience as we work to get inventory out to stores as quickly as possible. Please contact your distributor for account-specific delivery timing information.

We will be tracking your prize pack wins and delivering those as soon as we get the necessary product in.
