What are the reasons owners/operators fail on their expansion? Poor or lack of system.

ˡMajority of plans fail because of lack of proper system, not because of the people.ˡ --ʲᵇᵃᵘᵉʳ

Some areas that need careful considerations are
1/ resource management because expansion requires careful allocation of them, including new trusted leaders, which is a vital part of your expansion.
2/quality control without proper planning, scaling may become chaotic service quality introductions, supply chain, and even employee performance;
3/compliance, and regulatory, understandably, each city or state, has its own to consider;
4/an efficient marketing— inadequate ads and media coverage, salesforce and customer outreach;
5/lastly, but most importantly, strategic planning- you may expect the best, but prepare for the worst.
