Congratulations to young cellist Jaden Z. for earning the "Student Of The Month" award for August 2026. Jaden has been studying cello since September 2023 and has performed in various SMMC recitals. He recently took the ABRSM performance exam and scored a "Merit" on his certificate, which is the second highest score!

Congratulations to Lavinia who earned 3rd place at this year's Southwestern Youth Music Festival AND at the Satori Summer Music Festival. Lavinia has been working on preparing these performance pieces since December and it's wonderful to see her hard work and effort rewarded!

We are extremely proud of this talented, young little lady. We can't wait to see what next year will bring. Cheers to you!

Congratulations to cello student Jaden for passing his ABRSM exam with a score of "Merit"! Jaden currently works with SMMC cello instructor, Ms. Sarah Clark. It goes to show that with regular, routine practice, you can achieve just about anything!

Congratulations to piano student Lavinia for earning 3rd place at last Sunday's Southwestern Youth Music Festival at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach! Lavinia went up against some talented individuals but pulled off a wonderful performance that secured her 3rd place.

A big, huge "THANK YOU" to SMMC piano instructor, Ms. Grace for all of her diligent work in preparing Lavinia for the event. SMMC is very proud of her, her efforts and accomplishments!
