I’m always attracted to old magnifying glasses for the mysterious feel they bring to a display space. Especially a “cabinet of curiosities” theme.
This one was likely made in the 40’s, but it may be older. It’s made of steel with a wooden handle and a heavy thick glass lens.
The glass has some tiny scratches, and there’s some wear to the metal and wood.
Measures just under 10 5/8” long, 5” across the lens with a 5/8” rim.
