People often ask where the idea to start FlipJoy came from.

The truth is, it started with a problem in my own home. We had plenty of toys, but my kids were not staying engaged with any of them.

I didn’t want to keep buying more toys they’d quickly outgrow, and while toy rotation helped, I knew I wasn’t going to stick with constantly organizing bins and swapping everything myself.

I kept wondering...Why isn’t there a service that just does this for parents?

That question eventually became FlipJoy.

This August marks one year since we officially launched, and I’m incredibly grateful to every family who’s supported this dream.

I used to think ‘I’m bored’ meant we needed more toys. Now I think it usually means they need a little novelty instead.
