Usually, I like to keep my private life private. However, with the text messages, DMs, and even some phone calls that I’ve received, I feel like I need to clear some things up.
After 13 years together, Derrick and my relationship has ended. As some of you know, it’s due to infidelity. I wish I could just say that we’re no longer together, but with some of the women he was involved with being vendors at the markets and rumors getting around, I figured I’d tell my story before anyone else could.
For the last year and a half, he has been involved with multiple women, and I’m finding something new out every other day. Our entire relationship, I have worked so hard to provide for our family. Ironically, that is the excuse he gave me for his unfaithfulness.
I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m not trying to bash him. I’m just not interested in receiving any more information about this situation.
I will be closing my business at the end of this year and trying to navigate through the next chapter of my life.
