I love them all, but there’s something about that first regulator. The Monterey came out turning heads, and even won the Scubalab Tester’s Choice Award.
While ALL of our regulators have now won the top awards, there will always be “that first” 🩵🤿🔧

When we say we make dive gear “for the diver”, we mean it. The NEX Monterey has the ability to add turrets and ports. Plus, we offer service courses to not only show divers how to modify their regulator, but to do their 2-year service intervals (if they wish to do it themselves). 🤿💪💦

Obviously there will be caveats and different scenarios where it might make sense to have it looked at. But generally speaking when accidentally dunked without a dust cap in fresh water, you can fix it yourself on site (as long as you have a pressurized tank, of course). Obviously this is different for fresh water or a regulator that has been sitting submerged in the water for a little while. Nothing wrong with bringing it in for service, but it is not needed in this case. 💪🤿🔧

While most divers switch from YOKE to DIN, there are some cases where it needs to go the other way, such as rental fleets or selling your old stuff. Either way, we thought it would be fun to show what the difference is when converting your first stage regulator.
We believe a diver that understands their gear is going to be a better diver 🎯🤿🔧

This is the most common conversion divers make with their first stage regulator. DIN is bit more protected and streamlined, has a larger, captured o-ring, and often has a higher pressure rating.
